China’s Red Beach, as it’s known, is more like a wetland. However, it’s still breathtaking in the fall. That’s when a special type of seaweed in the area turns a beautiful red color and completely transforms the area. There are also hundreds of different bird species that call the area home at one point or another throughout the year. Luckily, the area is protected, so it should be there for others to enjoy for quite some time.

If you want to travel and see the Red Beach, you should head to the province of Liaoning. Most of the area is restricted to tourists in order to protect the ecosystem, but there are some areas open to visitors.
