It takes a lot for a modern holiday movie to become a classic, especially when they have films like It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story to compete with. However, Jon Favreau was able to crack the Christmastime code with Elf, which starred Will Ferrell as a lost elf from the North Pole, looking for his real dad.
The hilarious, touching movie wouldn’t have been complete without Buddy the Elf’s trusty elf costume. The green tunic and pants were made of fleece, with a white fur collar and white fur cuffs. The costume had a marking inside of it saying “Mr. Ferrell,” in case there was any confusion.
