Truly Young – African/White American | Dr. Dre’s Daughter

American singer, songwriter, and social media star Truly Young is famously known as the daughter of the rap mogul Dr. Dre with former wife Nicole Young, a lawyer. After completing her high school education in California, she’s currently attending the University of South California. Primarily taking influence from Nirvana and Curve in her musical journey, Truly intends to continue her father’s legacy. In 2018, she released her debut single, Lover Boy, which she wrote, produced, and directed.

Her father, on the other hand, is a rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur who is the CEO and founder of Beats Electronics and Aftermath Entertainment. Dr. Dre also previously co-founded, co-owned, and president of Death Row Records which produced successful hip hop artists like Tupac and Snoop Dogg. In the early 2000s, he focused on producing artists while contributed vocals every now and then. Throughout Dr. Dre’s career in the industry, he has achieved the pinnacle of success while receiving multiple awards and recognitions along the way.
