San Francisco-born Courtney Thorne-Smith seemed like she was the perfect fit to play Allison Parker on Melrose Place. She has also appeared in a number of high-value roles, including as lawyer Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal and as Lindsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. The actress has mainly focused on her TV career, but she also took on movie projects like The Lovemaster and Summer School.

What keeps Thorne-Smith busy nowadays, you ask? She has been busy shooting for another sitcom with the title Mom. Previously, she has indicated her intent to shoot sitcoms again and her wish was fulfilled. The actress was quite happy because she was reunited with some of the cast members from Two and a Half Men. As a mom, she could also relate to the different facets of the sitcom. We can even assume that she contributes her ideas, too.
