Jim Parsons | The Big Bang Theory
Prior to becoming Dr. Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons first played Tim in the movie Garden State. He was also involved with stage, having appeared in the 1993 France-set play, The Balcony. His most lucrative project, however, was TBBT, where he initially earned $60,000 per episode but was bumped to $1.2 million per episode during the last few seasons. With that amount, we can only imagine how much he set aside for investment money.
Before TBBT ended, Parsons already had the inclination to quit the program due to multiple commitments and personal struggles. Since he has more time in his hands now, Parsons is now trying his hand at producing, and has appeared as himself on the BBC series, Staged. For his efforts, the actor has received multiple accolades, including the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Comedy Actor.
