Betty White | The Golden Girls

Mayor of Hollywood Betty White got that title not because she was elected. There is also no mayoral district in Hollywood, but this title was given because she was the first woman to produce a sitcom. She decided to do this after appearing on several ones, including The Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. White has a very long career that started in 1939, long before the majority of the current stars in Hollywood were even born.

So what is her secret to a long life and a long career? White says that she loves pets, hot dogs, and vodka. Of course, that was a joke, but we believe it is her eternal optimism and sense of humor. She may be retired now, but becoming advanced in age did not really slow her down as she even became the oldest host on Saturday Night Live. We have to give this woman credit for all her efforts.
