Did you know that in 2007, American actor Shia LaBeouf and Barbados singer Rihanna actually went out on a date? Who would have thought that someone like Shia can be Rihanna’s type? The actor recalled that he had received a text message from RiRi asking him whether he would like to go out. They both agreed to meet and were spotted eating out in a fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills. Sadly, Shia claims that they didn’t manage to get past that one date!

The reason? There wasn’t enough electricity between them, according to the actor. It could have been something he said over dinner.
While RiRi likes to keep a low profile when it comes to her personal life, she had been rumored to be dating rapper A$AP Rocky. Shia on the other hand had just filed for divorce with British singer, FKA Twigs.
